My art quilts represent the beginning of my fiber art career, in the early 90’s. These pieces are inspired by my strong connection to the elements of earth, water, fire and air, and how these elements can express strong inner feelings and emotional experiences. Three-dimensional, highly textured and embellished, they reflect my love of hand and machine sewing combined with mixed media and found objects.
